Beltoon
A documentary exploring the lives of communities that had migrated to India during the time of partition, leaving behind their homes and shops, in hope of a glorious return to their land. “Beltoon,” a Pashto word that translates to ‘a separation’ in English and ‘judai’ in Hindi, aims at discovering lost traditions, people and culture while also showcasing the similarities of those aspects on either side of the border.
