Assi Nabbe Puray Sou unfolds the adventures of a family that is in disarray after their great grandmother’s prized photograph burns and her health deteriorates. In a desperate attempt to save her and her property, the family unravels the truth hidden in their mother’s archives.
With comical twists, emotional movements, and mysteries to unfold, at the film’s core is an honest friendship between Amma from India and Tej Singh from Pakistan.

Hamza Maya
Mohammad Hamza known as Hamza Maya is a writer, director, producer and editor. He studied Film & TV at Iqra University, Karachi. Since 2015 he has been engaged in the Pakistan film industry and television industry as a writer, director and editor. In 2017 Mohammad Hamza co-founded a production company named THE WISE OWL FILMS. In 2018, Mohammad Hamza was selected as part of the IU Film Festival Program as a Director’. MEHRAM, the resulting short film, is a dark thriller drama about a girl trying to escape her home for the sake of her lover who lives in a different city.
In 2019, Mehram received four awards; for the best short film, best direction, best sound and best actor at the 5th Karachi Iqra Film Festival. Followed by BNU Film Festival where the film collected 5 awards including The Best Film. Screened and selected in numerous International Festivals, signed up by OTT platforms like Starzplay and Filmerra – Delhi, India, Mohammad Hamza is known for his uncompromising devotion to quality and is firmly committed to the development and progression of loyal film culture in Pakistan.
Aditya Pawar
Aditya Pawar is a multiple award-winning writer/ director based in Mumbai, his short film FACE IT won the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke Best Actress Jury 2017, Winner of Best Performance at Mirror Mountain Film Festival Canada 2019, Winner of Perfect 10 Short film at MAMI 2018 Royal Stag Barrel Select, and made official selection in several international film festivals. He is one of the 40 directors in the world that made together one feature film which holds a Guinness Record and winner of Best Feature Film in L.A. Film festival called Train Station. He has been working in advertising commercials for over a decade. He likes to maintain a balance between commercial and independent films.

Shayhaq Baloch
Shayhaq Baloch an indie filmmaker from Balochistan is a film grad, his independent film company. He is associated with Zrumbish film which is based in Quetta, Balochistan. His team got young and independent filmmakers from Balochistan and their short films and documentaries have won awards and got nominations from various international film festivals. He and his team are also thriving to establish a film academy in Quetta Balochistan to expand the filmmaker’s community and bring out more and more stories from Balochistan.
Nidhi Sharma
Nidhi Sharma is a filmmaker based out of Mumbai, India. She studied filmmaking at Satyajit Ray Film and TV Institute, Kolkata and has produced a few award-winning short films in different languages. Over the past 5 years, she has been working in the advertising and promotional sector in various capacities ranging from Client Servicing, assistant director, writer and executive producer. Presently, she works as a Promo Producer at Shemaroo Entertainment. A shoot set is her happy place where she thrives on the excitement of new projects.
